Bald ist es so weit - Ich gehe nach Dänemark. Fast drei Jahre sollte es dauern, bevor Frederik und ich eine erste gemeinsame Wohnung ausgesucht hatten.
Unsere Wohnung liegt in Aarhus, gleich neben der Universität. 44m², also kleiner als zuvor und ich habe nach wie vor nicht richtig Dänisch gelernt. Ich habe aber keine Angst davor, was auf mich zu kommt und denke auch nicht, dass ich blauäugig an die Sache herangehe. Ich freue mich auf neue Abenteuer und darauf, vielleicht in Berufe hereinschnuppern zu können, mit denen ich zuvor nie in Berührung geraten bin.
Abgesehen von der Uni liegt in unserer unmittelbaren Nähe auch ein Kaufhaus, deswegen vermute ich, dass kaum Langeweile aufkommt! Schon der erste Tag in der neuen Wohnung wird spannend: Bis jetzt wissen wir nämlich nicht, wie die Wohnung von innen aussieht. Wir wetten auf ein dunkelbraunes Bad und ich denke, die Küche ist vielleicht so kieferfarben, aber das wird alles eine große Überraschung.
Bis dahin heißt es erst einmal Sachen packen, ich habe bereits angefangen und bin überwältigt, wie viele Dinge ich doch in meiner Wohnung versteckt hatte.
Soon it's time to say Goodbye Germany - when I'll move to Denmark. Almost three years of constant travels between Germany and Denmark will be over and Frederik and I will finally live together.
Our apartment is located in Aarhus, in the University area. It's 44m² in size which is just a tad smaller than my former apartment and I still haven't managed to learn Danish properly. However, moving does not scare me as I have an idea about all the things that are necessary to remember. I'm looking forward to adventurous times and perhaps even trying out new jobs which i haven't been in touch with, yet.
There will also be a shopping center right across the street, which is pretty convenient and apart from that, we don't know a whole lot about the apartment just yet as we haven't seen it from inside. This feels a bit like a lottery- but we already placed some bets on the bathroom being darkbrown and I also believe that the kitchen could probably be in some kinda wooden color. We are definitely in for a big surprise!
Until then, I'll have to pack. I alreay started and I am overwhelmed by the amount of little things I seem to have been hiding all over my apartment.
