Europa, Land der unbegrenzten Möglichkeiten - Moment.... Stop, das war falsch. Leider. Denn eigentlich sollten wir zusammenarbeiten. Darauf sollte der europäische Gedanke jedenfalls beruhen.
In Europa ist es zwar möglich, den Wohnsitz zu wechseln, aber nicht ohne Umstände. Übersetzungen müssen angefertigt werden und schnell entstehen Nachteile in Bereichen wie Ausbildung oder ähnliches, da europäische Länder doch hauptsächlich sich selbst oder Nachbarländer für am besten beurteilen ( Skandinavier sind im Übrigen auch die besseren Ausländer - wenn man nach dänischen Ideen geht, so kommen zu erst die Dänen, dann die Skandinavier, dann die Westeuropäer und ganz zum Schluss kommt Osteuropa).
Zuerst denkt man, ach, wir sind ja alle gleich, das sollte alles kein Problem sein. Aber so ist es nicht. Jeder ist sich selbst der Nächste.
Darum ist es wichtig, dass solche Sendungen wie der Eurovision Songcontest bestehen und nicht von politischen Meinungen durchzogen sind. Es ist wichtig, zu zeigen, dass wir als Europa ein Kontinent sind, der offen für alle ist und auch gern hilft. Und das können wir - zu recht - auch einmal im Jahr kräftig mit Musik feiern.
Und so ist es auch wichtig, dass wir unsere Stimme bei der Europawahl (25.5.) abgeben und uns ganz klar für Europa aussprechen. Dabei sollte man einmal beiseite lassen, dass Europa teuer ist. Denn im Grunde genommen ruinieren wir uns dadurch nicht, sondern zeichnen uns dadurch aus, dass wir versuchen, für alle einen guten Standard zu schaffen. Probleme gibt es überall. Doch wenn man zumindest ein paar davon durch einen Zusammenschluss beenden kann, ist man auf dem richtigen Weg.
Denn wichtiger als Geld sind Freiheit, Nächstenliebe, Völkerverständigung. Wichtig ist es, dass wir uns überall zuhause fühlen können. Wichtig ist es auch, dass niemand mehr leiden sollte und Kriege keine Option mehr sein sollten. Und Europa kann hier als gutes Beispiel dienen. Für heute und für die Zukunft.

At least that should be the European spirit.
It is possible to change the place where you live within the borders of Europe, but not without trouble. One has to obtain translations that will easily give one disadvantages in the field of education and the like, because European countries happen to think of themselves or their direct neighbors as the best (Scandinavians are the better foreigners - if you follow the Danish perception of who is the best, they come first, then the other Scandinavians followed by West-Europeans and the worst would be East-Europeans).
At first one may think:"But we are all the same?", and "Oh, it wont be a problem." But that does not resemble reality. It is every man for himself.
That is why it is important that we have tv-shows such as the Eurovision Songcontest. And it should not be the right place for political displays. In a contrary to that, this is the place to show that we, as Europe, are a continent which is open to anybody and that likes to help. And we should celebrate that - with good reason - once a year with some loud music.
On the same note it is important that everyone cast their vote in the European Elections (25.5.) and say "Yes" to Europe. And leave aside that Europe at times can be expensive. Because we are not ruining ourselves by being a unified continent. Instead of that, we are trying to maintain a good standard for everybody. Problems are everywhere. But if we can get rid of some of them rather than none of them, we are on the right track.
Because freedom, charity and international understanding are more important than money. It is important to be able to feel home anywhere you go. Furthermore, it is important that nobody should suffer and that war should not even be an option. And Europe can serve as a good example. For today and for the future.
